I found Jake through some online research and I could not have had a better experience. Jake worked with my 10 year old son who was having some injury concerns as well as muscle deficiencies which were preventing him from doing his best when playing sports. First Jake addressed underlying muscle imbalances, lack of flexibility. Then once my son started to feel better Jake worked with him on sports specific movements, exercises to improve his agility, speed, and reduce injury potential. Since working with Jake my son’s confidence, body awareness, strength and power have all increased greatly. I would highly recommend Jake for anybody looking to do PT, Sports Specific Training, and Injury Prevention work.

I began to see Jacob in September 2022 with the overall goal to improve mobility and strength through full range of motion. Jacob has helped me with these goals and more. Through our training, I have had flare-ups in my shoulder, bicep, adductor, and low back. He has helped me heal from all of these injuries fully. In our sessions, we do a combination of manual treatment, muscle activation, and muscle strengthening. Jacob is extremely efficient in his work and always has a plan set up for the day, but also can make quick changes if there is an issue that has recently happened. Jacob has helped me gain mobility in my T-spine, shoulders, hips, and more. I highly recommend Jacob to anyone that is looking to come back from injury, become more mobile, or add strength.

Optimize Physical Therapy literally saved my career. I was split squatting at the school gym and when I went down, I couldn’t come back up. I put down the bar as gently as possible and literally crawled out of the gym and into my car. I drove to Optimize and John Jacob Evanich was there to help me out. I was in 9/10 pain if I tried to stand straight up. He laid me down on my side and said, “Alright breathe in, and out,” then pressed down on my spine and side and gave me a little nudge. It was like the hand of Jesus touched me and healed me. It was like I was instantly cured. I got up and moved around with ZERO pain. Let me repeat that, “ZERO pain.” Optimize has also helped with rehab for my shoulder after labrum surgery and rehab/prehab but that one story of me not being able to walk is too good not to share.
